Research has suggested that approximately 90% of panic disorders can be resolved with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Worry about having another panic attack is common.

Dr. Vaughn's approach is two-fold: Exposure and Attention Training. With anxiety disorders, there tends to be a problem with attending too much to some information (bad things that can happen!) and too little to other information (avoidance of FEAR). She uses a combination of coaching you to face your fears while helping you learn to train your mind to attend to what YOU decide is important.
